DRA has a long history of value-added real estate investing. The company was established in 1986 as Dreyfus Realty Advisors, the real estate advisory arm of The Dreyfus Corporation. In 1994, Dreyfus was required to divest its real estate activities subsequent to its merger with Mellon Bank, and DRA's principals continued the investment business as DRA Advisors. Today, DRA is solely owned by its twelve partners, including its co-founders.

DRA has operated over multiple market cycles since the late 1980's, providing us with a unique depth of experience. We have consistently identified value-added investments under different market conditions, including arbitrage opportunities between the public and private real estate markets.
